International Registrar

Simone assists prospective students and families throughout their enrolment process. Simone has a wealth of experience in the International Education sector, a vast knowledge of diverse global communities, and a strong desire to enhance international student experiences in Australia.

Franceen Challons

Homestay Officer

Franceen is a key member of the International team, responsible for selecting Homestay families, and placing students with them. She is a daily advisor for international students and says her greatest satisfaction comes from helping a student when problems may arise.

Lindsay Vander Pal

International Mentor

Lindsay has taught Senior Science since 2007 and is also the International Mentor. Lindsay enjoys the freedom to be creative as a teacher and bring new ideas to maximise the learning opportunities for students.

Mike Brennin

Vice Principal and Director Senior Years

Mike started at ELTHAM College in 2010, having spent the previous three years as an Assistant Headteacher in the UK. He likes working with students and staff within a school that values both achievement and the development of the broader person.

Stephanie Lim

Bridging English Teacher

At ELTHAM since the beginnign of 2010, Stephanie has quickly established herself as an integral member of the team. She loves the freedom she has at ELTHAM to be creative in both her teaching and learning.

Trish Douglas

Senior Years Mentor

Trish loves ELTHAM so much that she’s had two stints here, coming back the second time in 1996. Now an integral member of the Senior Years team, Trish enjoys the positive working environment, which she believes is mostly due to the friendly and collaborative relationships between students and staff.

Mark Pobjoy

Senior Years Mentor

An integral member of the Senior School since 1990, Mark has extensive experience both as a teacher of mathematics and a mentor for senior students. He enjoys working with all young people and helping them to follow their passions, both at school and beyond.
 

Melissa Jenkins
LifeWork Counsellor

Melissa joined the LifeWorks Centre at ELTHAM in 2010. She works closely with students to assist them in planning their learning while at ELTHAM, and also helps students with their goals for after ELTHAM. She loves the fact that ELTHAM College staff are encouraged to be accommodating and supportive of students following their passions.

Margie Jordan
LifeWork Counsellor

Margie has been working in senior school and tertiary education settings for over 20 years, focussing on: School Counselling, Careers Counselling and Study Skills Training. Her qualifications are a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Melbourne, a Graduate Certificate in Careers Development and Education from RMIT, and a Graduate Diploma in Applied Psychology and a Masters degree in Psychology, both from Monash University.
